Roosevelt, dessen Praesidentschaftskandidatur für diesen Herbst Freund Rumely eifrigst betreibt, gilt in Bezug auf Deutschland für "lernbegierig" - wohl um das "progerman vote", das auf etwa 25% der gesammten Wählerschaft veranschlagt wird, zu gewinnen.
